While there’s been much debate recently of what the biggest awards movie of the Fall will be, there’s little debate what the biggest financial success will be. That title will almost certainly go to The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, Francis Lawrence‘s sequel to the 2012 hit starring Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson. The film opens everywhere November 22.
/Film is happy to be one of 75 sites (that number chosen to coordinate with the 75th Annual Hunger Games) giving away two tickets to attend the premiere of the film, November 18 in Los Angeles. Read More »

Lionsgate has been very careful in marketing The Hunger Games: Catching Fire. Seemingly every piece of video or image that’s been released has hid a simple fact. A simple fact a new banner finally confirms without a shadow of a doubt.
You see (spoiler for the first film), Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence) and Peeta (Josh Hutcherson) won the 74th annual Hunger Games at the end of the last movie. And it’s established in that film that winners are free to enjoy life’s wonderful spoils for the rest of their days, right? But in this new banner, as well as several posters that have been released, you see a lot of older characters referred to as “Victors.” And they’re all holding weapons. I won’t come out and say it above the jump but, the second half of Francis Lawrence‘s film should be pretty clear from that info. Check out an epic banner featuring all the victors below. Read More »

On the poster Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence), the newly crowned co-victor of the Hunger Games, is standing on a bluff looking down on the world. That’s pretty much where the world puts her at the start of this film, which is something President Snow (Donald Sutherland) is not too happy about. Check it out below. Read More »
