The Avengers Infinity War Cast

In under a month, audiences will finally get to see Captain America: Civil War unfold on the big screen, and if the early buzz is any indicator, it’s going to be a great way to kick off the blockbuster summer. Later this week we’ll have an even better idea as to how the movie plays with audiences as it will be screened at CinemaCon this week and also in 25 major cities around the United States.

However, directors Anthony & Joe Russo already have their eyes on the future with The Avengers: Infinity War set as their next project. We’ll likely get a tease of what’s in store for the two-part sequel in the credits of Civil War, but until then, the directing duo has confirmed that Guardians of the Galaxy star Chris Pratt will have a role in the film. Thanos in Guardians of the Galaxy 2

Ever since Thanos was revealed in the mid-credits scene for The Avengers, fans have been waiting to see just what kind of havoc the comic book villain was going to wreak in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The character finally appeared again in Guardians of the Galaxy, voiced by Josh Brolin, but he pretty much just did a lot of sitting and threatening while everyone else did his work for him. Plus, he hasn’t gotten ahold of any of the Infinity Stones. He even lost the one he already had in his possession, giving it away to Loki.

marvel studios updated calendar

Yesterday, Marvel Studios announced a bunch of changes and additions to their release calendar. Among the announcements were an Ant-Man sequel titled Ant-Man and the Wasp set for 2018, new release dates for Black Panther and Captain Marvel and three yet-to-be-announced Marvel movies scheduled for 2020. So the question I’ve been getting over the last 24 hours is this: What does Marvel Studios have planned for 2020?
