Earlier this week, Warner Brothers released a new trailer for Zack Snyder‘s genre-bending, visual cornucopia Sucker Punch. The main comment was that the movie looked amazing but people were unsure about the story, which could be why we’ve seen such a plethora of print material. There’s no denying the movie looks amazing. To that end, a few new posters have popped online that sell the film like it’s some kind of 1940s propaganda film. Check them out after the break. Read More »

It’s essentially a music video compilation of a bunch of kick-ass special effects-enhanced action sequences. That comes as a bit of a shock, because that had previously been thought to be a Zack Snyder sequel, full stop. He did 300, then 300 more or less defined him, and he has been developing Xerxes with original graphic novel author Frank Miller. As of last summer the script was under way.

Come this March, there’s going to be a lot of Alex Pardee on screen during Zack Snyder’s Sucker Punch. The artist not only contributed artwork for the genre bending trip through a mental institution, but his drawings are the basis for much of the marketing campaign. We’ve already seen the finished posters that Pardee did of all the characters from the film and now we’ve got images of his original, hand-drawn sketches of those posters. Check them out, and find out how you can see Pardee’s work up close and personal in Los Angeles this month, after the break. Read More »
