The Jem and the Holograms movie came together seemingly overnight last spring, but we haven’t heard much from the candy-colored rockers since then. And we still haven’t, but at least now we’re finally getting to see them.

The first image from Jem and the Holograms has just been revealed, featuring Aubrey Peeples as Jem, Stefanie Scott as Kimber, and Hayley Kiyoko as Aja. Insidious Chapter 3 trailer

Chapter 3 in the Insidious saga hits theaters next year and your first trailer is here. Written and directed by Leigh Whannell, Insidious Chapter 3 is a prequel to the other two films, showing how ghost hunter Elise (Lin Shaye) learns about The Further, via the plight of a young father (Dermot Mulroney) and his daughter (Stefanie Scott). Insidious Chapter 2 (2)

Leigh Whannel is currently filming Insidious Chapter 3 and not only do we have our first look at the film, we’ve got new plot information and a chance for fans to visit the set. The film, which features new characters played Dermot Mulroney and Stefanie Scott as well as returning characters played by Lin Shaye, Angus Sampson and Whannell himself, opens May 29, 2015,  It will show events that “predate” what happens in the first two films. Last month, no one thought a Jem and the Holograms movie was possible. This month, it’s already filming and the cast has now been revealed.

Aubrey Peeples, best known for a role on TV’s Nashville, will play Jem. Disney star Stefanie Scott is Jem’s sister Kimber, Aurora Perrineau (Pretty Little Liars) is Shana and Hayley Kiyoko (Lemonade Mouth) is Aja.

At Comic-Con, we learned that geek favorite Alan Tudyk would lend his voice to the video game-inspired animated adventure Wreck-It Ralph, but it turns out he’s not the only late-breaking addition to the cast. Walt Disney Studios sent out a press release today revealing several other stars that had just boarded the project, including Ed O’Neill, Mindy Kaling, Adam Carolla, Horatio Sanz, Dennis Haysbert, and many more.
