Sin City A Dame to Kill For - Marv poster header

Nearly a decade has passed since the last time we dropped in on Sin City, but it doesn’t look like a whole lot has changed since then. Life looks as grim and brutal as ever in Sin City: A Dame to Kill For, which follows four noirish storylines as they unfold across the city.

Today, we have five new Sin City: A Dame to Kill For character posters to (re)introduce you the town’s gun-toting, knife-wielding residents, including Nancy (Jessica Alba), Marv (Mickey Rourke), Gail (Rosario Dawson), Dwight (Josh Brolin) and Johnny (Joseph Gordon-Levitt). Check ‘em out after the jump.

Nearly ten years after the original Sin City, Robert Rodriguez and Frank Miller go back to seedy streets with Sin City: A Dame to Kill For. The aesthetic approach is the same: black and white, dotted with color. The technique, which heavily relies upon green screen shooting, is hopefully much refined after a decade of practice and technological advances. There’s a new long Sin City: A Dame to Kill For TV spot today; and the one-minute mini-trailer is a good way to take a look at the film. Read More »

Sin City: A Dame to Kill For Trailer

Here’s the first Sin City: A Dame to Kill For trailer, from Robert Rodriguez and Frank Miller. Nine years after the release of the first film, the duo has created a sequel that once again splashes Miller’s distinct visual style on the screen. Josh Brolin Sin City

This first teaser poster for Sin City: A Dame to Kill For, from Robert Rodriguez and Frank Miller, is mostly of interest because it confirms the title, which has been the subject of some speculation in the past few months.
