What happens when a studio dedicates a decade to adapting one of the most popular novel series in the world, and does so with an eye for quality? “It all ends.” So says the latest round of advertising for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2, which hits theaters July 15. The phrase obviously has several interpretations: the end of the Potter story, the final Potter movie, etc. But the one thing that “It all ends” apparently doesn’t mean is the end of the posters Warner Brothers is putting out to publicize the film. Four more have just come online and, I’ll admit it, like most of the other posters released, these are very attractive. But, really, did we need four more? Is this movie not going to make $400 million domestic and well over $1 billion internationally? I think it can do that in its sleep without a shred of advertising.

With just one month left before the Harry Potter film series ends for good, it feels like we’re getting a some new bit of promotional material practically every day. At this point, I’ve lost count of just how many posters we’ve already seen for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2. But as long as they look this fantastic, I’m not complaining. In the days since we last showed you the last batch of posters, featuring the heroes and villains looking dirty and bloodied, a handful of new posters have been released. Last week, we showed you two new posters for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 — one featuring a roughed-up Harry and another showing a concerned-looking Hermione. Since then, Warner Bros. has released five more character posters, for Ron (Rupert Grint), Neville (Matthew Lewis), Voldemort (Ralph Fiennes), Draco (Tom Felton) and Snape (Alan Rickman). The full theatrical trailer for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 has hit a bit early this evening. The eighth film in the Harry Potter series depicts the Battle of Hogwarts and the final confrontation between Harry and Voldemort. There are new photos floating around today from Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2, which concludes the epic Harry Potter series when it opens on July 15. These images show a bit more of the massive final battle that brings the story to a close — you’ll see Harry fighting in a Gringott’s vault, and there’s a shot of Neville doing a little battle work of his own, in addition to a few other glimpses at the film.

When Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint first met each other in 2000, they never could have imagined that a decade later, they’d still be portraying the same characters. And while audiences still have one final Harry Potter movie to look forward to, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 on July 15, the three Gryffindor’s have long since finished filming. Director David Yates filmed both parts of Deathly Hallows simultaneously and, as it turned out, the final shot for all three actors actually appeared in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1. The DVD of that film comes out on April 15 and, on it, there’s a segment that shows the filming of that final shot.
