Last week we posted a preview of Entertainment Tonight’s visit to the set of Transformers: Dark of the Moon. Today clips from the set visit are now online for you to watch. The clips show us director Michael Bay shooting a couple action sequences, and stars Shia LaBeouf, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Josh Duhamel, Tyrese Gibson, and Patrick Dempsey say a few words about the new sequel. We already knew that the space race between the United States and Russia was going to be a major plot point in Transformers 3. But leave it to director Michael Bay to take that fact to a whole new level. Next year’s blockbuster 3D sequel will be shooting on and around NASA’s Discovery space shuttle at the Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral, Florida beginning Wednesday. We’ve already seen photos of the production, which stars Shia LaBeouf and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, in Chicago and Los Angeles and, with Discovery being prepped for a November 1 launch, the huge scope of the film is once again coming into focus.

We’ve known for a couple months now that Victoria’s Secret model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley would be taking over as the love interest for the third entry of Michael Bay‘s Transformers series, and have even got a few glimpses at her showing off her assets on set. But there still hasn’t been any explanation as to what her place in the film would be, or if her cleavage’s screen time would be able to compete with that of Megan Fox.

OK, let’s get this straight: so, doing 100mph in a Chevy on the National Mall and setting off a lot of explosions near the White House, even fake ones, is bad? Right, OK, got it. Michael Bay and his crew have been planning to do quite a lot of shooting in Washington D.C. for Transformers 3, but the city isn’t so keen on some of the production’s plans. A couple weeks back, Megan Fox left Transformers 3 and soon after it was rumored that Victoria’s Secret model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley had been offered the role as Fox’s replacement. It seemed almost like a sure thing, but we hadn’t heard anything from official channels until now. Last week Megan Fox left Transformers 3 (or was not asked back, depending upon which report you believe) and immediately rumors began to swirl about her replacement. Names of a few actual actresses were floated as vague rumors (like Gemma Arterton) but then speculation focused on models, with one Victoria’s Secret model, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, as the most possible successor.
