A Case of You

Indie romcoms about self-doubting writers and quirky hipster goddesses are a dime a dozen, but Kat Coiro‘s A Case of You has a special secret weapon in the form of one Peter Dinklage. While the main romance revolves around Justin Long and Evan Rachel Wood, the Game of Thrones star seems poised to steal every scene he’s in as an odd barista with a hideous mustache. Watch the trailer after the jump.

Here’s your first official video look at a couple of the big elements from Bryan Singer‘s X-Men: Days of Future Past. Or, to be pedantic, one giant element and one human one. The video below is an “advertisement” for Trask Industries, a high-tech firm focused in part on national security. The head of the company is Bolivar Trask, played by Peter Dinklage, and in addition to the portrait above you’ll see him briefly in the video below.

The most famous product of Trask Industries may be Bolivar’s brainchild, the mutant-hunting Sentinel robots, and you’ll see one or two of them below, too, in their early versions. We saw some basic hints of them at Comic Con, but this is a much better look. Read More »

When Bryan Singer first announced that he’d added Peter Dinklage to the cast of X-Men: Days of Future Past, the popular guess was that he’d be playing Alpha Flight member Puck. But that theory was quickly thrown out when a report spread that Dinklage would actually be playing the villain, which led to further fan speculation that Dinklage could be voicing a CG character.

Now, however, Singer has put that idea to rest as well. While the filmmaker still won’t reveal Dinklage’s part, he’s dropped a few bare hints in a recent interview. Hit the jump to learn more.

In the decade or so since the start of Fox’s Ice Age series, the franchise has pulled in a range of high-profile stars including Jack Black, Will Arnett, Jay Leno, and Simon Pegg to compliment its central quartet of Ray Romano, John Leguizamo, Denis Leary, and Chris Wedge.

This time around, for Steve Martino and Michael Thurmeier‘s Ice Age: Continental Drift, the core characters are joined by the likes of Jennifer Lopez, Nick Frost, Rebel Wilson, Aziz Ansari, Josh Gad, Peter Dinklage, and more. It’s a very solid cast, but is the project worthy of their talents? Watch the first trailer after the jump and decide for yourself. Read More »

Believe it or not, there’s just 34 days left to go until the second season premiere of HBO’s Game of Thrones. And as that date approaches, the teasers and trailers have been getting ever so slightly more revealing. The latest ditches the dramatic narration of the last two, so we get more dialogue this time around — and, consequently, a better idea of the struggles the characters will be facing in the upcoming season. Watch the video after the jump. (Spoilers for Season One follow, obviously.)

Though I was excited by the earlier teaser for Season 2 of HBO’s Game of Thrones, at the risk of sounding like a swooning fangirl, I have to say that even that pales in comparison to this new trailer. This time around, it’s Lord Varys (Conleth Hill) who takes over narrating duties, explaining exactly who everyone is and what they’re doing — without actually revealing anything at all, of course. Tricky eunuch bastard. Naturally, Golden Globe and Emmy winner Peter Dinklage gets some good face time as well. Watch the video after the jump. (Warning: Spoilers for Season 1 follow.)
