Billed as “provocative”, the action-packed drama will explore the “epic struggle between the Farrell Clan, who have lived atop the rugged Shay Mountain for over two hundred years, and their battle to defend their land and their way of life from the town below and anyone who would dare to challenge them.” Scheduled to be released in early 2016, you can get your first look at WGN America’s Outsiders in the trailer embedded after the jump.

- Starz orders Da Vinci’s Demons, by Dark Knight writer David Goyer
- Michael Bay will exec produce Outsiders for The CW
- NBC buys a new comedy by Scrubs writer Tim Hobert and the guy who played intern Lonnie on same
- Showtime buys a new comedy from the Farrelly Bros.
