The New ‘Ghostbusters’ Villain Looks Awfully Familiar

Aside from a few stills here and there, Sony still hasn’t revealed a whole lot about its upcoming Ghostbusters reboot. We know it’ll be directed by Paul Feig and star Kristen WiigMelissa McCarthyLeslie Jones and Kristen Wiig as the new fab four, but we won’t actually get our first good look at the new ‘busters in action until next month, when the first trailer finally drops.

As happens so often, though, Sony’s commitment to secrecy has been undermined by its desire to sell some toys. Ernie Hudson Ghostbusters cameo

Today marks the last day of shooting for the Ghostbusters reboot from Bridesmaids, The Heat and Spy director Paul Feig. And on wrap day, we’ve just learned of one more cameo featuring one of the stars of the original Ghostbusters from 1984.

Director Paul Feig has been revealing quite a bit from his forthcoming Ghostbusters reboot that’s currently shooting in New York City. We’ve already seen the new proton packs (with added specs to help cosplayers), the new Ecto-1, and a shot of Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones all suited up and ready to bust ghosts.

Neil Casey in Other Space

Paul Feig’s Ghostbusters already has four fantastic heroes lined up, in the forms of Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, Kate McKinnon, and Leslie Jones. But a hero is nothing without a villain, so now Ghostbusters has picked up one of those as well. Neil Casey has just been cast as Rowan, the main antagonist of the film.
