Big things are in store for Kermit and company in Muppets Most Wanted, including an international tour and a continent-spanning caper. But the most exciting event of all may be a wedding, if the latest image is to be believed.
The bride, of course, is Miss Piggy, who’s been after Kermit for years. But whether the pig and the frog will actually make it down the aisle seems to be another question. Check out the picture after the jump.

Muppets Most Wanted will whisk Kermit and his pals off to Europe next month, but first it’s making a pit stop in the U.S. for Super Bowl Sunday. The new TV spot has everything you could ask for: the whole gang, plus glimpses of human stars Tina Fey and Ricky Gervais, cameos from Danny Trejo and Tom Hiddleston, and emoticon-filled tweets from people who’ve seen some of the other trailers for the movie.
Check it out, along with a cute Toyota spot featuring Terry Crews, after the jump.

For movie fans who don’t like football, the Super Bowl is basically a night of trailer premieres. Studios spend millions of dollars ($4 million per 30 seconds to be exact) to debut commercials for their upcoming blockbusters. Usually, those commercials debut brand new footage. Looking at the 2014 release schedule, there are tons of films with Super Bowl potential but the final list of films with Super Bowl commitments has now been revealed. Read about it below. Read More »
The marketing team working on Muppets Most Wanted is having just as much fun with the film for this ad campaign as they did with the one for 2011′s The Muppets. Instead of cutting ads that parody trailers for other films, the object of amusement this time is online comments and the act of using random tweets as ad fodder. That’s all you really need to know before diving in; if you missed the spot during the Golden Globes last night, check it out below. Read More »
On May 6th 2013, I ventured downtown to visit the set of The Muppets 2 (now titled Muppets Most Wanted). Anyone who knows me knows that I’m a huge Jim Henson fanatic and love love love The Muppets. For 2011′s The Muppets, we were on set to watch the Muppets drive up to the ABC (disney-owned) news station in a car. For Muppets Most Wanted, I got to see dozens of Muppets about to board a train at Union Station. I’m thinking that I might just be lucky enough to watch the Muppets exit a plane onto the tarmac at LAX if they ever make another Muppets film.

The next Disney/Pixar short film, Party Central, debuted at this summer‘s D23 Expo. Set in the Monsters University universe, it follows the Oozma Kappa clan as they throw a frat party. But no one shows up, and they remedy the situation by using some crazy tactics to steal a rival party.
Originally, the short was going to debut with The Good Dinosaur, but as that film has now been pushed back until 2015, Party Central (above) will now premiere with March’s Muppets Most Wanted.
Speaking of that film, you can watch a new viral video from it, jokingly showing how excited the Internet is for the next Muppet movie. Read More »
