Al Pacino plays a sort of recluse for David Gordon Green in Manglehorn, and the first trailer is here. Pacino plays a guy struggling with his past and the woman that got away, even as he avoids truly dealing with the aspects of his life that are right in front of him. South By South West has announced their 2015 feature film lineup. After the jump you will find the press release with the full feature program information. Notable films include Alex Garland‘s Ex Machina, David Gordon Green‘s Manglehorn, Paul Feig‘s Spy, and the documentaries Alex Gibney’s Steve Jobs: The Man in the Machine and Ondi Timoner’s BRAND: A Second Coming. Plus, there’s a sneak of Judd Apatow’s Trainwreck, a documentary about Raiders of the Lost Ark, several of the biggest film from Sundance and more.

David Gordon Green has been a very busy bee. He hit the festival circuit with not one but two films last year (Prince Avalanche and Joe), and recently got Chris Pine to sign on for his next directorial effort, a thriller called The Line.
In between all of that, he also managed to squeeze in an indie drama called Manglehorn, with Al Pacino in the lead role. The first image and synopsis have just hit, and you can check them out after the jump.
