Point Break Remake

The new Point Break needs a new Bodhi. Gerard Butler was going to take on the role originated by Patrick Swayze, but Butler has pulled out of the remake. Alcon Entertainment still plans to shoot the movie this fall, with Ericson Core directing from a script by Kurt Wimmer. They’ll find a new actor to play the soulful surfer bro and professional criminal, because Point Break must be remade, and it must be remade now. (Because after Transcendence, Alcon needs the money.) Olympus Has Fallen sequel

Olympus Has Fallen did so well in America last year that its sequel is going across the pond next year. Focus Features has acquired U.S. rights to London Has Fallen and set it for a fall 2015 release date. Olympus Has Fallen

It took the Die Hard franchise five installments to send its hero overseas, but Olympus Has Fallen, a.k.a. “Die Hard in the White House,” will get there considerably faster. According to a new report, Nu Image and Millennium Films are reuniting the entire principal cast of the first movie — including Gerard ButlerAaron Eckhart, and Morgan Freeman – for London Has Fallen, set in, you guessed it, London.
