Lego Batman movie release date

You’re going to get a new Batman movie in the first part of the year for the next two years. Of course, we know Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is coming on March 25, 2016. Now, you’ll be able to see the still-untitled Lego Batman movie on February 10, 2017.

The news is part of a release date blast for a bunch of upcoming Lego movies including Ninjago, which has been bumped back to September 22, 2017, and The Lego Movie Sequel, which has moved up a week to May 18, 2018. Read more about the Lego Batman movie release date below. Read More »

Batman may be the most miserable major superhero out there, especially in his current, Christopher Nolan-influenced incarnation. This is, of course, despite the fact that he has all the fame, fortune, good looks, and intelligence that an ordinary person could possibly want. So if all those things can’t make him happy, can anything?

What a long, strange trip it’s been for Batman on the big screen. There was the 1966 movie based on the TV show. Tim Burton’s 1989 hit, which lead us to the wild Joel Schumacher films. Christopher Nolan then took over and turned it into Oscar-bait and in a few years, not only will Batman fight Superman and join the Justice League, he’ll be the star of his own Lego movie.

That’s a whole lot of material to work with for writer Seth Grahame-Smith and director Chris McKay, who are making the Lego Batman Movie spinoff set for release in 2017. According to producers Chris Miller and Phil Lord, they will acknowledge it all. Read the quote below. Read More »
