Fans of Entourage have been patiently waiting since 2011. Waiting to see if their favorite New York to Los Angeles buddies would be back with their moviemaking and heartbreaking drama. Well, today is the day. The first Entourage movie trailer is finally online.

The film brings back the entire original cast (including, but not limited to, Kevin Connolly, Adrian Grenier, Kevin Dillon, Jerry Ferrara and Jeremy Piven) in a story that picks up a little bit after the series left off. Ari Gold (Piven) is running his own studio now and his first big bet is on Vincent Chase (Grenier). Chase wants to not only star in, but direct his own movie.

Written and directed by series creator Doug Ellin, Entourage opens on June 5. Watch the Entourage movie trailer below, and check out the first poster for Chase’s movie, Hyde as well as the teaser poster. Read More »

Reach Me trailer

The trailer for Reach Me makes the movie seem to have a few too many identities crammed into the frame; as a baseline it comes across like Paul Haggis’ Crash mixed with Dianetics. The ensemble cast includes Sylvester Stallone, Terry Crewes, Kelsey Grammer, Thomas Jane, Kevin Connolly, Kyra Sedgwick, Ryan Kwanten, Tom Berenger, Tom Sizemore, Cary Elwes and Nelly. We’ll get to more of the background in a moment, but for now hit the jump to watch that cast try to find their feet in the first Reach Me trailer. Read More »

The Entourage movie doesn’t open for 15 months, but production is well underway. In fact, the film opens on the same day as Jurassic World, and Entourage will be in the can before director Colin Trevorrow shoots a foot of film on the dinosaur sequel.

The writer and director of Entourage, Doug Ellin, has been doing a pretty amazing job documenting the production via Instagram. He’s put up plenty of images of his principal cast – Adrian Grenier, Kevin Connolly, Jerry Ferrera, Kevin Dillon and Jeremy Piven – but also revealed a slew of cameos and plenty of returning stars who played key roles in the eight seasons of the hit HBO show.

Entourage

For a while there, the Entourage movie was starting to look a bit iffy. Warner Bros. had greenlit the sequel, but then there was a whole bunch of drama about who was getting paid what. Ultimately, though, the studio was able to wrangle together all six principal cast members with an eye toward shooting in January 2014.

Now that month has finally rolled around, and the actors are indeed ready to work. Hit the jump to check out a couple of behind-the-scenes images of Vince and his boys, reunited once more.

Briefly: Now that the drama is over, Drama is finally back. Entourage creator Doug Ellin tweeted what several of his stars had been saying over the weekend. All deals have been signed and the movie version of the hit Hollywood-based HBO show is finally a go.

Vince (Adrian Grenier), E (Kevin Connolly), Turtle (Jerry Ferrara) and, yes, Drama (Kevin Dillon) will all now receive backend deals on the $30 million film. Filming will start as planned in January once Jeremy Piven (whose original deal started all the problems) finishes filming his PBS show, Mr. Selfridge. Cue the Jane’s Addiction. [Twitter, Deadline]

Entourage - Ari and Vince

Whether the world will even still want an Entourage movie by the time it gets made is up for debate, but the reason it hasn’t gotten one yet is pretty clear. Although Warner Bros. greenlit the project back in January, report after report has indicated that the cast isn’t so thrilled with the salaries being offered. Or rather, most of the cast isn’t.

According to a new story, Jeremy Piven is being compensated handsomely for his involvement in the movie. This is proving an issue because he’s getting paid so much, Adrian GrenierKevin Connolly, Jerry Ferrara, and Kevin Dillon are upset that they aren’t making as much as he is. Get the details after the jump.

Entourage went off the air two years ago, but earlier this year fans got a glimmer of hope that they’d see Vince and company continue their adventures on the big screen. Warner Bros. announced the green light for a feature film sequel, which would begin shooting in May.

Then summer came and went with no news, and now as we head into fall we’ve learned what the holdup is. Basically, according to a new report, the cast wants more money. Hit the jump to get the dirt.
