The wolf pack has already done Las Vegas and Bangkok, and it appears that they’ll be heading to yet another world-famous party town for the third and final stop on their debauched tour. A couple of different outlets are reporting that The Hangover Part III will be set in Tijuana, Mexico, though an insider says much of the film will be shot in Los Angeles and Las Vegas before the cast and crew head south of the border. More details after the jump.

Based on the premise, Dark Horse sounds like it could be another entry from the Judd Apatow comedy collective. Jordan Gelber stars as a schlubby, overgrown man-child who strikes up a relationship with a pretty woman (Selma Blair), and tries to grow up a little bit in the process. But in fact, this is a Todd Solondz film, which means we’re in for a significantly darker, pricklier take on the world. Watch the new trailer after the jump.

One of the many Sundance debuts this year was Holy Rollers, from first-time feature director Kevin Asch. It features Jesse Eisenberg, Justin Bartha, Ari Graynor and Q-Tip in the seemingly unlikely story of a young man (Eisenberg) who is drawn by a neighbor (Bartha) into a scheme to smuggle ecstasy into the US. Now there’s a trailer for the picture, which First Independent Features will release in May. Read More »
Kevin Tyler Asch makes his feature film debut with Holy Rollers, which premieres at the 2010 Sundance Film Festival as one of the 16 films which were selected from 1,058 submissions for the U.S. Dramatic competition.
This crime drama stars Jesse Eisenberg (Zombieland, Adventureland) as a young Hasidic man named Sam who is seduced by money, power and opportunity, and becomes an international Ecstasy smuggler. Sam struggles to choose between his strong religious background and the seductive pull of the outside world. This original script written by Antonio Macia is inspired by actual events in the late 1990’s when Hasidim were recruited as mules to smuggle drugs from Europe into the United States. The film also stars Justin Bartha, Danny A. Abeckaser, Ari Graynor, and Jason Fuchs. Four photos can be found after the jump.

At ShoWest, Warner Bros premiered a new trailer for Todd Phillips‘ new comedy The Hangover. It’s pretty much an extended version of the teaser trailer. The film tells the story of three groomsmen who lose their about-to-be-wed buddy during their drunken misadventures in Las Vegas, then must retrace their steps in order to find him.
Phillips is the director of Old School and Road Trip, and while this movie doesn’t look as good as either of those films, it still looks pretty damn funny. And it’s rare to find a comedy that isn’t either produced by Judd Apatow, starring the regular Apatow crew, Adam Sandler or Will Ferrell now-a-days. The film stars Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms, Zach Galifianakis, Heather Graham, Justin Bartha, and Jeffrey Tambor. Watch the trailer after the jump and tell me what you think in the comments below.
