Superheroes always end up getting misunderstood, feared and taken to task by the government for the potential threat they pose to humanity. Superman has to go to court in Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice, The Avengers seem to be sidelined a bit in Captain America: Civil War, and now we know the Fantastic Four get locked away for a little bit.
A new TV spot for Josh Trank‘s comic book reboot has just surfaced online with some new footage from the film bringing Marvel’s first family back to the big screen. With news surfacing that The LEGO Movie and 21 Jump Street directors Phil Lord & Chris Miller will be at the helm of a new Star Wars Anthology film focusing on a young Han Solo, everyone is wondering just who will play the charismatic smuggler.
Harrison Ford made the role iconic in the original Star Wars trilogy, and he’ll be reprising the role in The Force Awakens. But Ford can’t play a young version of the character without extensive visual effects, so some younger actor is going to have to get in the cockpit of the Millennium Falcon. The question is who can pull it off?
We’ve rounded up some possibilities, some likely, some not, and some more preferable than others. Check out our list of 20 Actors Who Should Play Han Solo after the jump! Read More »

It seems like just yesterday the narrative around Fantastic Four was how bad the marketing was. Mainly, that’s because it was non-existent for so long. Since the release of the first trailer though, that’s been rapidly and happily changing. As effects shots get completed and more and more is revealed, you can feel everyone getting cautiously optimistic about what Josh Trank has done here. It’s going to take some people actually seeing the movie to finally make everyone super excited but, until then, the tables are turning.
Case in point, a brand new TV spot that debuted during the NBA Finals. It’s a lot of the same footage we’ve already seen, but there’s new stuff and – most importantly – there’s humor in here. Below, check out the new Fantastic Four TV spot. Read More »
Even though director Josh Trank is no longer on board the second Star Wars Anthology film, which is reportedly about Boba Fett, we’re still hoping for the best when it comes to his reboot of Fantastic Four at 20th Century Fox. So far the trailers have painted a pretty serious picture for the comic book property that isn’t exactly known for being dark and gritty, so this will likely be very different from the previous big screen iteration of the super powered quartet.
Now a new international trailer has surfaced that’s almost identical to the previous domestic trailer we saw, but there are some bits of new footage of our heroes showing off their powers (which we also saw shown off in a new commercial). So far, the trailers for Josh Trank‘s Fantastic Four have shown us brief glimpses of the characters’ powers. We haven’t really gotten a chance, however, to visually study each ability. Movietickets.com has released a commercial featuring the Fantastic Four and, for twenty seconds, it’s probably the best look yet we’ve seen from the movie…until it becomes an app commercial. But for 20 seconds, you get a really great look at what Josh Trank has in store for us on August 7. Check it out below. Read More »

This summer’s other big superhero team takes the spotlight in a new Fantastic Four trailer. Miles Teller, Michael B. Jordan, Kate Mara, and Jamie Bell star as Reed Richards, Johnny Storm, Sue Storm, and Ben Grimm respectively, who become Mr. Fantastic, Invisible Woman, Human Torch, and the Thing after a disastrous trip to another dimension.
But the biggest reveal in the new Fantastic Four trailer isn’t a superhero but a supervillain. This serves up our first look at Toby Kebbell‘s Victor Domashev a.k.a. Doctor Doom — both in and out of the mask. And there’s much more of the team in action, including new shots of the Thing. Check out the new Fantastic Four trailer after the jump.

Cool Posts From Around the Web:
Josh Trank‘s new Fantastic Four film opens in August, but even though it is an “end of summer” movie from Fox, the studio is slowly pushing new promos out now as the season begins. A set of Fantastic Four featureless offers brief interviews with Trank and writer/producer Simon Kinberg, and they talk about each of the cast members hired to play the four major roles. “Because we wanted to be grounded and dramatic,” says Kinberg,” we went for the best dramatic actors.” Check out all four short videos below. “Be ready for what’s coming.” “What is coming?” ” The answers.” That dialogue ends a new international Fantastic Four trailer that is now online. It’s not lying. Answers are coming for questions about the mysterious Josh Trank superhero film.
Unfortunately, this trailer doesn’t have many of them. There is new footage in there, even some new power stuff. Overall, it’s probably a better constructed and more interesting trailer than the first teaser. But “answers?” Not just yet.
