The list of confirmed Star Wars Episode VII actors still hovers around zero, but the list of rumored stars seems to grow longer every week. The latest subject of speculation and gossip is Jack Reynor, who’s probably best known for a role that hasn’t even hit theaters yet — he’s the star of upcoming Transformers: Age of Extinction. More on this story after the jump.
Update: The Irish Independent prints a statement from Reynor’s reps saying “There is no truth in that — Jack is not taking on a role in the latest Star Wars film… He has not been approached about a role and there has been no discussion… The rumours started online, but there is no foundation to them.”

The real promo push for Transformers: Age of Extinction has started, even though the movie doesn’t open until June of next year. Empire recently debuted a cover featuring the new Optimus Prime and humans Mark Wahlberg, Jack Reynor, and Nicola Peltz. Now some other scans have come online. Entertainment Tonight has released a video from the set of Transformers: Age of Extinction and while there’s no new information on the plot, it’s still packed with material. The video is filled with flipping cars, shooting debris, stampeding crowds, huge explosions, a screaming Michael Bay and three actors (Mark Wahlberg, Jack Reynor and Nicola Peltz) who almost seem out of breath they’re working so hard. Of course, there are also some slick cars that, with the magic of special effects, will transform into huge robots when the film hits theaters come June 27. Check out the video from the Detroit set below. Read More »
Cool Posts From Around the Web:
Director Michael Bay has posted the first official cast photo from Transformers 4: The Age Of Extinction featuring Mark Wahlberg, Nicola Peltz and Jack Reynor. Wahlberg stars in the film as a mechanic named Cade who makes a discovery that attracts the attention of Autobots, Decepticons and a paranoid government official. Peltz plays Wahlberg’s teenage daughter Tessa, and we can only assume that Reynor plays Tessa’s boyfriend or love interest. Check out the full photo, after the jump.

There’s been no shortage of videos and paparazzi shots from the Transformers 4 set, but now we finally have our first official look at the human stars, sourced right from Michael Bay.
The director has posted a photo of himself, actors Mark Wahlberg and Jack Reynor, and various crew members standing atop some fancy-looking construction, probably alien in origin. There are no Dinobots in sight, sadly, though an unconfirmed report indicates that the fan-favorite characters could be shooting a scene today. Check out the photo and get the latest on the (potential) Dinobots after the jump.
