The first full-length trailer for Homeland Season 5 begins with Carrie Mathison (Claire Danes) in a good place. She’s got a cushy private job in Berlin, she’s dating a handsome new fellow, and she finally seems to have taken to motherhood. Most importantly, she’s left behind the CIA, the source of her greatest triumphs and tribulations over the years.
… Or so she thought. This is still Homeland we’re talking about, after all. It’s not long before Carrie gets sucked back into a web of international intrigue involving shady government organizations, hackers, black-ops agents, and a rather pissed off Saul Berenson (Mandy Patinkin). Carrie Mathison is back, whether she likes it or not. The first Homeland Season 5 teaser trailer has her out of the CIA, and working for a philanthropist in Berlin. But judging by all the explosions, kidnappings, and stern lectures in the trailer, it seems leaving the past behind may be easier said than done for our unstable heroine (played by Claire Danes).
Mandy Patinkin and Rupert Friend return as Saul Berenson and Peter Quinn. Watch the Homeland Season 5 teaser trailer after the jump. Read More »

Showtime has released another new trailer for Homeland Season 4. This new trailerreveals a bunch of new tidbits about the upcoming season. For instance, we learn that the story picks up after the CIA is trying to control the damage of a drone strike killed civilians in Pakistan (sounds like a subplot from the last season of 24: Live Another Day) and it also appears Saul and Carrie are friendly once again. We hate spoilers. And so does actress Jennifer Lawrence. While doing an interview on the red carpet of the SAG Awards, one of the interviewers decided to spoil the ending of season three of Showtime’s television series Homeland even though Lawrence had just told the “reporter” that she had only seen the first two seasons. Watch the video after the jump to see Jennifer Lawrence try to channel her anger into comedy. I’m not sure I could keep it that calm.
