Here’s your first good look at the short film follow-up to Frozen, via the Frozen Fever trailer. The short reunites the creators and cast of the hit film — Kristen Bell, Idina Menzel, Jonathan Groff, and Josh Gad voice Anna, Elsa, Kristoff and Olaf, while Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee return to direct — in a story that takes place on Anna’s birthday. And while it’s great that the family conflict we saw in Frozen is all sorted out, this time Elsa has a problem that would be a small thing for most of us, but for her could be more serious. Frozen Fever pictures 4

There’s a good chance, if Disney ran the seven-minute short film Frozen Fever, in theaters on its own, it would be a massive hit. Frozen Fever is the first sequel to the massive box office and cultural hit and it’ll be attached to Disney’s Cinderella when it hits theaters on March 13. So now fans will get to see the continuing adventures of Elsa, Anna, Olaf and Kristoff as well as a full, feature length film.

The first photos from Frozen Fever have now been revealed, giving some glimpses at what these characters are doing now that the kingdom of Arendelle has stopped being Frozen. Check out the Frozen Fever pictures below.

new Frozen short

The ABC special The Story of Frozen: Making a Disney Animated Classic is airing right now on the east coast of the US, and the show features a big announcement. The spring of 2015 will see the release of a new Frozen short called Frozen Fever. The short film will be directed by returning directors Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck, and will feature the core characters Anna, Elsa, Kristoff and Olaf. The short will also come complete with a new song from Robert Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez.
