If you’ve watched all the supplements on several Criterion releases over the past decade or so, you’ve no doubt seen some short pieces on how the company’s film restoration process works. But methods always change, and the Criterion workflow changes with new technology. One of the label’s latest releases is Alfred Hitchcock’s Foreign Correspondent, available this week.
