Breaking Bad Tread Lightly

After the massive cliffhanger in the mid-season finale of this last season of Breaking Bad, everyone expected the showdown between Walt and Hank to take some time. Leave it to Vince Gilligan to mess with expectations again and have it happen right in the premiere episode of the fifth season’s return. The performances by Dean Norris and Bryan Cranston in the scene were second to none; now a behind the scenes clip shows the production of that scene. Somehow, seeing other people in the room witnessing the scene makes it even more tense. Read More »

As we promised in “The Ones Who Knock” Kickstarter, I did weekly recaps here for each episode of Breaking Bad. For those of you unfamiliar with my recapping style, it’s less of a straightforward plot summary and more a distillation of the most interesting elements of each week’s episode.  The recaps will spoil everything up through the current episode (S5E16 “Felina”), but won’t spoil any future episodes or even scenes from the “Next Time” segment of the show..because that’s all over now. So hold on to your pork pie hats, because here we go.

As we promised in “The Ones Who Knock” Kickstarter, I will be doing weekly recaps here for each episode of Breaking Bad. LOL: Dean Norris Spoils the End of ‘Breaking Bad’

Breaking Bad - Hank and Walt

As Breaking Bad sprints toward the finale, the theorizing over how it’s all going to end is only getting more intense. Vince Gilligan and his stars have been dancing around the big spoilers for months now, and at least one is getting tired of keeping all these secrets to himself.

Dean Norris, who plays DEA agent Hank Schrader, has posted a new video on Funny or Die in which he “spoils” the ending of Breaking Bad. Here’s a clue: According to him, it’s titled “Hank Wins” and was written by Norris himself.

Hit the jump to check it out. Ironically, the video doesn’t contain any real spoilers for anything that’s happened so far, so even those of you who are still struggling to catch up can watch with impunity.
