Tour De Pharmacy Trailer

Back in 2015, HBO debuted a sports mockumentary called 7 Days in Hell that chronicled fictional tennis players Aaron Williams (Andy Samberg) and Charles Poole (Kit Harington) who played a match to end all tennis matches: a seven-day, five-set marathon that took everything out of them. It was a hilarious 45-minute foray into tennis presented in the style of HBO Sports documentaries, and now the world of competitive cycling is getting the same treatment.

Tour De Pharmacy focuses on five cyclists in 1982 as they dealt with the controversy of nearly every athlete doping in order to get an edge on competition. The cast includes Andy Samberg, John Cena, Freddie Highmore, Daveed Diggs, Orlando Bloom and they somehow got Lance Armstrong to appear and even poke fun at his own relationship with doping.

For me, TNT has always been the channel I turn to when nothing else is on and I’m looking for a familiar film to serve as background noise. I mean, how many times can one network possibly air The Shawshank Redemption? My guess is they’ve set the record, and second place isn’t even close.

The network has had its share of original TV content over the past couple of decades – I guess someone has to keep Noah Wylie employed – but it looks like I’m going to have to brush off my preconceived notions about that channel, because they’re apparently stepping up their game. They’ve hired Avatar 4 writer Josh Friedman to be the showrunner for a TV adaptation of Snowpiercer, and now two more big names have boarded the train: Tony Award-winning Hamilton actor Daveed Diggs will star, and Doctor Strange helmer Scott Derrickson will direct the show’s pilot.

Who Should Play Young Lando Calrissian

This winter brings Rogue One: A Star Wars Story to theaters. It will be the first theatrically release live-action Star Wars feature film that tells a story outside of the traditional trilogy narrative of the saga. Even though we still have months before we see that film in its entirety, the second movie in the Star Wars Story series is already in the works, and it will focus on the famous smuggler Han Solo before he became caught up with the Rebellion in Star Wars: A New Hope.

Alden Ehrenreich was previously confirmed to play Han Solo, taking the role played memorably by Harrison Ford, and just yesterday we learned that a young Lando Calrissian will be joining him at some point in the movie. Right now the hunt is on for an actor to play the scoundrel friend of Han Solo who made his debut in The Empire Strikes Back and received an expanded role in Return of the Jedi.

After the initial report surfaced, Donald Glover was said to be the frontrunner. But there’s no guarantee he’ll end up with the part when all is said and done, so we came up with a batch of 15 other possibilities for who could play young Lando Calrissian. Some of the choices are obvious, but we dug a little deeper for some of the options to come up with some lesser known names who could catch their big break like Harrison Ford did back in 1977.
