Adrien Brody and Forest Whitaker have joined the cast of The Experiment, which is a remake of Oliver Hirschbiegel’s 2001 breakout film Das Experiment. Hirschbiegel’s film was based on the Stanford Prison Experiment, which was was run by Stanford’s Professor Philip Zimbardo in 1971 to evaluate the psychological effects of being a prison guard or inmate. There are a lot of Award shows in Hollywood. Some of them are serious presentations, awarding accomplishment and talent: the Academy Awards, the Golden Globes..etc. Other award shows are nothing more than pure spectacle. The MTV Movie Awards falls into the latter category. Every year we post the award winners, and every year we complain about how some tween heartthrob, this year – Zac Efron, beats out some insanely talented actor, this year Robert Downey Jr, for Best Male Performance. Or how Twilight beat out both The Dark Knight and Slumdog Millionaire to win Best Movie.
But truth is, we love to bitch about the MTV Movie Awards, which explains why I’m posting these results. It’s certainly not that we give credence to this list of winners. Any award show which gives out five statues to Twilight can’t be taken seriously. So leave your comments below. Be smart, clever, funny, and biting.

Twilight fans are (generally) nuts. I’m sorry, but its (generally) true. I kid, I kid. (or do I?) Being cast in a Twilight film may as well be one of those trick choices in an old-school Twilight Zone episode. Sure, you get to be famous, but your life becomes a living hell.

Cool Posts From Around the Web:
MTV has the first trailer for David Goyer’s upcoming supernatural thriller The Unborn. Looks a bit creepy but typical. Goyer may have been involved with crafting the stories for Batman Begins and The Dark Knight, but his directorial work (Blade: Trinity, The Invisible) has yet to impress me. Watch the trailer below and tell me what you think in the comments.
Official Plot Synopsis: “A young woman is pulled into a world of nightmares when a demonic spirit haunts her and threatens everyone she loves. Starring Odette Yustman, Meagan Good, Cam Gigandet and Gary Oldman, The Unborn is a thrilling tale of one woman’s survival as she fights a family curse and struggles to shut a doorway from beyond our world that has been pried open by someone who was never born.”
Watch the trailer in High Definition on MTV. The Unborn hits theaters on January 9th 2009.
