It’s a big challenge to keep a franchise fresh three installments in, but Kung Fu Panda 3 has one big surprise up its sleeve. It turns out Po (voiced by Jack Black) isn’t the last of his kind, as he previously believed. His dad Li (voiced by Bryan Cranston) is still very much alive, and residing among an entire community of big, fat, happy pandas.

Kung Fu Panda 3 will triple down on the panda action. Although Po (voiced by Jack Black) has spent the past two films believing he was the last of his kind, the upcoming threequel will reveal that’s not the case. In fact, there’s a whole secret panda village full of other big, fat, happy bears.

With Simon Pegg co-writing the new script for director Justin Lin, things have been kind of quiet on the Star Trek 3 front. That’s because the movie is being shaped and finalized as you read this story. But other facets of pre-production must be happening if they hope to start shooting in the spring for July 8, 2016 release.
One of those moving parts is casting and the latest rumor is that everyone’s go-to villainous actor, Bryan Cranston, is being sought for a role. The next directorial effort from James Franco will be an adaption of the John Steinbeck novel In Dubious Battle, and he has assembled a big-name cast: Selena Gomez, Vincent D’Onofrio, Robert Duvall, Ed Harris, Bryan Cranston and Danny McBride. Bryan Cranston is bringing a shameful nexus of entertainment and politics to life once again in the movie Trumbo.
Following the conclusion of Breaking Bad, Bryan Cranston has been seen in Godzilla, and his biggest achievement has probably been a portrayal of Lyndon B. Johnson in the play All the Way. That led to an HBO movie version of the play in which Cranston again plays the title role. But that’s not his only stint playing a significant figure from 20th Century American history. A little over a year after Breaking Bad, Bryan Cranston is heading back to the criminal underworld. The Emmy-winning actor is attached to lead The Infiltrator, about real-life federal agent Robert Mazur’s years undercover.
