Fox has released the trailer for Gary Winick’s Bride Wars. Anne Hathaway and Kate Hudson star as two best friends who become rivals when they schedule their respective weddings on the same day. In the film, Hathaway’s skin is dyed orange, Hudson’s hair turns blue, and I quickly turn away from the ticket booth clutching a $10 bill in my arms, before making a run for it. Who woulda thought that the same guy who wrote Saving Silverman would have years later come up with a the same type of movie for the completely opposite sex. Last week Kate Hudson was spotted with Blue hair, and now a orange Anne Hathaway has been caught on camera, what the hell is going on in Gary Winick’s Bride Wars?
The film tells the story of two best friends who become rivals when they schedule their respective weddings on the same day. Looks like the blue hair and orange tan job are part of the back and fourth retaliation. Yeah, the explanation isn’t as interesting as the photos themselves. The film is scheduled to hit theaters in 2009.
