In 2014, a movie based on the popular LEGO toys will be in theaters, written and directed by 21 Jump Street helmers Phil Lord and Christopher Miller. The road to that started several years ago when Warner Bros. took pitches from companies hoping to earn that same opportunity. Now one of rejected ideas has been revealed.
The pitch was from animation house Blur Studio, who’ve worked on games and movies such as Batman: Arkham City, The Force Unleashed, Avatar and The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo.
