Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues was crammed full of jokes, and there were so many more left on the cutting room floor that director Adam McKay was able to cobble together a second cut of the movie with 763 new jokes. But now it’s time to get serious.
Paramount has just released a clip from what it calls Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues: No Joke Cut, with exactly zero jokes. By stripping away the humor, Anchorman 2 is finally exposed as the heart-wrenching domestic drama that it really is. Watch it after the jump.

As audience members, we’re encouraged to laugh as long and as loud as we can at Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues. But as the stars of the show, Will Ferrell and company were obligated to maintain a straight face. Which isn’t always easy when the scenes are this hilarious.
A recently released reel of Anchorman 2 bloopers show the stars screwing up and screwing around on set — riffing on specialty condom brands, bursting into giggles at the phase “frothy ejaculate,” or nearly tearing up with laughter during an awkward romantic scene. Even Brian Fantana’s famous kittens get in on the non-camera-ready action, adorably attacking each other instead of their toys. Watch the video after the jump.

Though the Oscars featured plenty of product placement (hey there, Samsung), they didn’t spend much time dwelling on the art of product placement in movies. But the marketing-minded folks at Brandchannel have, and now they’ve released their 2014 Product Placement Awards.
By their metric, Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues and Pain & Gain were among the top movies of the year, while The Secret Life of Walter Mitty was a particular low point. If nothing else, the list is worth checking out because it’s probably the only best-of list to include both Philomena and The Smurfs 2. Dig into their results after the jump.
