Depending on what you want out of Robert Rodriguez, this first trailer for Spy Kids: All the Time in the World may either instill dismay (“he made this instead of a ‘real’ movie?”) or happiness (“if he wants to make this, then let someone else do Deadpool“). This looks like a Canadian promo for the film — check the Alliance logo where the Weinstein-related one should be — but I imagine it is very similar to the US trailer we’re likely to see. Check it out below. Read More »
Director Robert Rodriguez is hard at work filming Spy Kids 4: All The Time In The World and photos of three of his stars have leaked online. They show Jessica Alba, decidedly clothed like in her last Rodriguez film, along with the original Spy Kids Carmen and Juni Cortez, played by Alexa Vega and Daryl Sabara. They’re not kids anymore, though, so in the latest film – due August 19 – they’ll pass the reigns to Marissa’s (Alba) kids Rebecca (Rowan Blanchard) and Cecil (Mason Cook) in order to battle the Timekeeper, played by Jeremy Piven. Check out the photos after the break along with more info on the film. Read More »

Cool Posts From Around the Web:
A new movie trailer for Darren Lynn Bousman‘s Repo! The Genetic Opera has gone online as the Fantasia Film Festival begins next week. I hate to rehash the quotes used in the trailer, but the movie looks both stunning and original, and might very well become an instant cult classic. It looks like Rocky Horror Picture Show meets Blade Runner meets Saw. I also love the fusion of comic book styling used in the backstory and actor credits. And did I mention the music? Tell me what you think in the comments below!
