When does James McAvoy see his Xavier performance blending with Patrick Stewart’s? Where can you read some character bios from Man of Steel? Who is scoring X-Men: Days of Future Past? Has Captain America: The Winter Soldier started filming? Want to see a new Iron Man 3 TV spot featuring the Mandarin? How about an Iron Man 3 centric Audi commercial? And what is Marc Webb doing above on the set of The Amazing Spider-Man 2? Read about all this and more in today’s Superhero Bits.
Late yesterday, two posts delayed this column. This one with images from Thor: The Dark World, Captain America: The Winter Soldier and Guardians of the Galaxy and this video that they all came from. Visit those links for SURE but, also, Superhero Hype has stills of Edgar Wright‘s Ant-Man test footage. So there you go too.
Speaking to The Huffington Post, James McAvoy said he’s probably wait until a third X-Men movie before starting to act like Patrick Stewart:
I think that may come. I mean, who knows? Who knows where it’s going to go? That may come in the third movie but definitely not in this movie. We’re not in the same place that we were in the first movie with Charles — a very different place from there. But we’re also still on a very different place from where Patrick was in the other movies.
Here’s a brand new, Iron Man 3 TV spot centric to The Mandarin.
Film Music Reporter says John Ottman is, indeed, scoring X-Men: Days of Future Past.
Yesterday’s post on Comic Book Movie, rounding up Iron Man 3 promo items, was so good I’m featuring it twice. here’s just one more example, of a bevy of Iron Man 3 armors in toy form.
Speaking to Marvel, Kevin Feige talked about setting up the Ten Rings of the Mandarin throughout the Iron Man movies.

Marc Webb tweeted the above image from the set of Amazing Spider-Man 2, followed by this one, for a nice little joke.
