Adam Driver (who plays Kylo Ren above) was recently interviewed by Esquire magazine, but mostly about his overall career as opposed to intricate details of Star Wars: The Force Awakens. But still, some little tidbits came out of the interview, such as:
“Everyone turns into four-year-olds around Chewie. They all want a hug. It’s like, ‘We really got to work. Can someone pull our DP off Chewie?’”
Check out a couple more tidbits at StarWars7News.com over here.
Star Wars Underworld has word on a couple new LEGO sets coming in 2016, and one of them seems to indicate a new planet, or at least the name of a new location. The set is called The Battle of Takodana, but that’s all we know for now. If you want to read some speculation on what the planet could be, head over to Star Wars Underworld, but beware of spoilers.
Above you can quickly catch up on the key events that happened in the new Star Wars canon for the month of July, which includes the main comic book storyline, the spin-offs focusing on Princess Leia, Darth Vader and Lando Calrissian, Kanan: The Last Padawan, and the book Dark Disciple.
How did the game company LucasArts fall from grace? GameInformer has a fascinating multi-page feature on how LucasArts rose and fell, going from churning out beloved action adventure games to creating mediocre products capitalizing on brand name familiarity. It’s a fantastic read, and you can check out the whole story right here.
Apparently Mark Hamill likes to have a little fun when giving autographs to fans. Imgur user raggedrabbit recently posted a round-up of funny autographs the Luke Skywalker actor has given out with amusing references to Star Wars and his character, all dependent on what exactly he’s signing. You can see a full gallery of images right here.
Finally, Simon Pegg ranked all of the Star Wars movies in under a minute for MTV. Watch the video to see if his favorite is your favorite. Spoiler alert: he hates the prequels.
