First Look: Seth Rogen And His Famous Friends Face 'The End Of The World'

Having established himself as an in-demand actor, writer, and producer, Seth Rogen is now moving into directing. Or co-directing, to be more exact, with frequent collaborator Evan Goldberg. The pair recently began shooting their first directorial effort together, the apocalyptic comedy The End of the World. And while it remains to be seen just how they'll do in their newfound role as co-helmers, it appears that their past work has allowed them to call in some favors and collect quite a cast.

Among the various stars set to populate the upcoming movie are Rogen himself, James Franco, Jonah Hill, Aziz Ansari, Rihanna, and many, many more.

Said friends include, in addition to the actors named above, Paul Rudd, Danny McBride, Emma Watson, David Krumholtz, Martin Starr, Mindy Kaling, and Craig Robinson. The roster is star-studded enough to rival any crappy ensemble romcom, and no doubt funny enough to handily beat any of them in the comedy department.

It's unclear what exactly is going on in these pictures, though all the surprised mugging suggest we've caught the characters right at the beginning of the end. We also don't really know where the plotline goes from here, though it sounds like terrible fates will befall at least some of your favorite pop culture figures — Screen Crush promises that "not all the celebrities pictured here will survive the attack on Earth." Uh-oh. Think Cera at least makes it long enough to enjoy his apparent flirtation with Rihanna?

The End of the World is scheduled to open June 14, 2013.
