Darren Aronofsky recently moved the production of his Biblical epic Noah from Iceland to New York, which means that there are now a lot more photographers around to take photos of his cast as they’re shuttled from trailer to set.

And so we’ve got a fresh batch of photos showing the costumes worn by Russell Crowe, Jennifer Connelly, and Emma Watson. They’re not exactly period-appropriate, I’d guess (though who am I to say — I wasn’t there!) but they do look very appropriate for the sort of movie Aronofsky has said he wants to make. That is, a film that tells the story of Noah in a way we haven’t seen before and, if the graphic novel adaptation of the script is any indication, a specific ’70s sci-fi influence.

Crowe’s Noah is looking a bit different than he was in the first official photo of the character — much older, and a bit more weary. (Though it’s dangerous to assume the weariness is the character’s, and not the actor being captured by yet another photographer.)

You can see more set pics here. Noah also features Logan Lerman, Ray Winstone, and Anthony Hopkins. It is scheduled for release on March 28, 2014. [Entertainmentwise, Just Jared, and the Daily Mail]
