Cool Stuff: This R2-D2 Lamp Finally Gives The Droid Some Flexibility

There's plenty of Star Wars stuff out there to clutter your house with, but it's always nice when some of those items are also functional as well as representative of the sci-fi saga you love. That brings us to this cool new R2-D2 desk lamp that's now on sale. Basically, it looks like Luxo from Pixar Animation had a baby with R2-D2. We almost said Luxo Jr., but that lamp is just a child and doesn't need to be having any droid/lamp babies.

There's a part of me that wishes the top dome part of R2-D2 actually had some texture and raised elements. How cool would it be if light shined through his lenses? But the design is still adorable enough to make a nice addition to your desk. However, the price tag is a bit high at $59.99. Here are the specs from the product page:
