The first time was in Columbus, Wisc. At the end of the day's shoot, Johnny shook hands with the fans and was so gracious and kind. He thanked Columbus and its fans. He even bowed to his fans. I was only about 3 feet from him. I had a difficult time getting the chance to shake his hand. However, on Apr. 14th and 17th when the film was shooting in Oshkosh, Wis., I was able to see Johnny in a scene where the Dillinger Gang was fleeing the scene of a bank robbery. After each take, the actors would walk back to their beginning mark down the street. Johnny smiled & waved to his fans, tipped his hat and even did a little dance step. The crowd went wild including me!! And after both days of full day shooting, Johnny once again came out to shake everyone's hands. I even got to talk with him as he warmly held my hand on both nights. Johnny Depp is such a great guy and great actor. There is nothing "Hollywood-big star" about him. He truly likes his fans!!
