'Monsters University' TV Spot Invites New Students To Check Out The School

With Monsters University turning back the clock to look at characters from Monsters Inc. just when they were learning to scare, it was inevitable that Pixar's marketing team would decide to play around with the ways that real universities pitch themselves to students. The main website for the film is, in fact, a play on a stereotypical university front page, and we've seen a few other .

Today, the broadcast of the Rose Bowl game saw a new TV spot for Monsters University. But this one doesn't feature the typical look at the film. Instead of a fast cut collection of footage clueing audiences in to the early years of Mike and Sully, the spot is made to resemble a promo for an institution of higher learning... only one for creatures with fur and odd numbers of eyes.
