Key & Peele's 'Keanu' Trailer Is Even Better With More Cats In Place Of People

The trailer for Keanu was already entertaining on its own. Not only does the presence of Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele make it a must-see comedy, but the title character is one of the cutest kittens that the big screen has ever seen. In fact, one of the biggest problems that Keanu may end up having is that we just don't get enough of the little feline in the film's running time.

Perhaps in an effort to make up for the fact that there's only so much of the little cat in Keanu, Warner Bros. Pictures has released a trailer parody that replaces Key, Peele and the other actors with cats. There's more gangsta cats and even a pole-dancing cat. Don't worry, you can watch all this cuteness out in the open because the Keanu kitten trailer is completely safe for work.

Here's the "Kitten, Please" spoof trailer for Keanu:

Obviously this was done on the cheap, but there are some great shots of cats wearing costumes on a little tiny sets. It's exactly the kind of video that the internet was created for. Easily the best part, beyond the cute cats, is that the scenes with Keanu use a toy cat in his place.

Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele, a.k.a. the hugely popular comedy duo Key & Peele, star as Clarence and Rell, two cousins who live in the city but are far from streetwise. When Rell's beloved kitten, Keanu, is catnapped, the hopelessly straight-laced pair must impersonate ruthless killers in order to infiltrate a street gang and retrieve the purloined feline. But the incredibly adorable kitten becomes so coveted that the fight over his custody creates a gang war, forcing our two unwitting heroes to take the law into their own hands.

Keanu arrives this week on April 29.
