Another Marvel Fan Has Seen 'Avengers: Infinity War' 100 Times

This is getting a little out of control. Following recent news that one Marvel fan watched Avengers: Infinity War at least 43 times in theaters, we now have word that yet another Marvel fan watched the film in theaters 100 times. That's about 16,000 minutes worth of superhero mayhem, folks.

How much free time do you have? In this busy, workaday world, free time is a luxury for many. And yet, one Marvel super-fan has found the time to see Avengers: Infinity War a whopping 100 times in theaters. Sounds exhausting. Kieran Harvey, a 17-year-old from Staffordshire, has hit up the cinema over and over again to watch the latest Marvel spectacle.

"I really didn't plan on seeing it this many times it just sort of happened," the movie-goer said. "I go to the cinema an awful lot anyway, I saw Black Panther 30 times and so far have seen the new Deadpool 20 times...However, Avengers just felt so different to anything I've ever seen before, and I just love it so much so have been going as much as I can! As soon as the trailer was released I thought, I'm going to watch this a hell of a lot, but I just thought I'd reach 40, maybe pushing 50, but here we are at 100 and it's crazy."

Yes, it is crazy. Folks, I review movies for a living, and the most I've ever seen one particular movie in theaters is four times. It's important to remember that Infinity War is rather long – about 2 hours and 40 minutes – so sitting through it 100 times is no small feat. Harvey also has the ticket stubs to back up this claim, and offered an explanation as to how he was able to pull this off:

"I do have a limitless card which is why I go to the cinema so much. I've only missed about three days this year so far where I haven't been at the cinema.

So that cost just under £200, which isn't bad going for the amount I should be paying on Avengers alone!

Most of the time I've been by myself, I don't know anyone who could keep up with the amount I go! However sometimes I'll go with my parents if they want to see it again, and I have been with friends a few times but the majority of the time I've been going solo."

Harvey also said he's been going to the theater "daily, multiple times," and "somehow ended up at 100 after only a month and a half of it being released."

Harvey's rewatching-spree has surpassed previous Infinity War record holder Nem: The Infinity Watcher, who previously made headlines when he saw the film over 43 times. This was enough to earn Nem an invite to the Avengers 4 premiere.

I suppose the question now is: will Kieran Harvey land himself an invite to the premiere as well? Or will this trigger a viewing war, with each Infinity War fan struggling to achieve dominance in the world of multiple viewings? What a time to be alive! All kidding aside, I'm happy to see these fans enjoying the film so much. That said, Infinity War is a fairly well-reviewed flick. I'd be a bit more impressed with someone seeing a bad movie over and over again. So let me know when someone watched Gotti 100 times.
