Hatchet Movie Trailer

Hatchet

I remember when going to a comic-con meant you were going to see something new and special. Something not available online for anyone to see. That day is gone. The teaser trailer for Hatchet was supossed to make it’s grand premiere at the New York City Comic Con this weekend, but has already turned up online. They didn’t even wait till Monday. If I were going to Comic-con, I’d be pissed. But since I’m not there, I’m glad to have this video.

It’s not a sequel. And it’s not based on a Japanese one. Old School American Horror.” One must appreciate that message. The trailer is mostly comprised of advance quotes and creepy music. But from the little I’ve seen so far, I’m sold. In case you want to know more (which I’m guessing is the case), the official plot synopsis follows.

Official Synopsis: When a group of tourists on a New Orleans haunted swamp tour find themselves stranded in the wilderness, their evening of fun and spooks turns into a horrific nightmare.

Adam Green’s slasher film hits theaters on September 7th 2007.
