The Los Angeles Times has a first look behind the scenes photo of James Cameron directing Sam Worthington in his big budget sci-fi 3D film Avatar. Look at the incredible performance capture and 3D rig, both of which were probably created for this film, just off camera. And if you look where Cameron is pointing, you will see one of the alien creatures from the movie projected onto the set using a new state of the art holographic projector thinggy.
