Events: Elm Street Live Commentary, Spaced Marathon, Back To The Future And Little Mermaid Reunions

Director Edgar Wright is continuing his "Wright Stuff" series at Toronto's Bloor Cinema, with a FREE marathon of his TV series Spaced. He'll be doing introductions and Q&As on all three days. The marathon kicks off at 5:00 p.m on Sunday, March 22, and will include two intermissions. Episodes are 24 minutes each. For those of you who don't know, Spaced is the show on which Edgar collaborated with Simon Pegg prior to them working together on Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz. Note that the Spaced screening is free only for Bloor Cinema members and "Wright Stuff" passholders, but that six-month Bloor memberships can be purchased at the theatre for just $3. Shock has news that Wes Craven will be providing a live commentary on Nightmare on Elm Street at a special screening on Sunday, March 29th 2009 at the Aero Theatre in Los Angeles at 7:30pm. In attendance will be Lea Thompson, Christopher Lloyd, Marc McClure, Jeffrey Weissman, Claudia Wells, Deborah Harmon, Courtney Gains, and possibly others. In attendance will be Character animator Tom Sito will moderate a panel consisting of Mark Henn (Ariel), Andreas Deja (King Triton), Ruben Aquino (Ursula), Tina Price (CAPS system and early CGI) and Gary Trousedale (storyboards).
