Money makes strange bedfellows in filmmaking. As an example, here’s the first major US Dragon Blade trailer, showing off the film that unites Jackie Chan, Adrien Brody, and John Cusack in a story of Roman forces marching into China. The film was already a massive success in China earlier this year, no doubt because of Jackie Chan’s enduring popularity and relentless promotional efforts at home. Or perhaps people just like seeing very odd combinations of actors and action. Check out the trailer below.
Dragon Blade will be available for your sword-throwing pleasure in theaters and on VOD on September 4. Trailer via Lionsgate.
