Disney’s biggest challenge with Ant-Man is going to remind people this is a Marvel movie. He’s in the same universe as The Avengers, the Guardians of the Galaxy and more. Now, they’re tackling that problem head on in the latest wave of promotions. A new Ant-Man TV spot directly references The Avengers and a new series of poster put the character front and center in a bunch of familiar places. So far, the trailers for Josh Trank‘s Fantastic Four have shown us brief glimpses of the characters’ powers. We haven’t really gotten a chance, however, to visually study each ability. We now have a pretty decent chance to do that in a very odd place. Movietickets.com has released a commercial featuring the Fantastic Four and, for twenty seconds, it’s probably the best look yet we’ve seen from the movie…until it becomes an app commercial. But for 20 seconds, you get a really great look at what Josh Trank has in store for us on August 7. Check it out below. Read More »

Christopher Lloyd reprises his signature role as Doctor Emmet Brown from Back to the Future trilogy in the latest LEGO Dimensions television spot. We wrote about LEGO Dimensions back in April; it’s LEGO’s attempt to take on Disney Infinity, Nintendo Amiibo and Skylanders. The new video game will use special Lego mini figures to create franchise-busting scenarios, and properties included are Batman, The Lego Movie, Lord of the Rings, DC Comics, Ninjago, The Wizard of Oz, and yes, Back to the Future.
The Doc Brown Lego Dimensions trailer revolves around the premise of Doc receiving a mysterious package that has a connection to another dimension. Great Scott indeed, some very heavy stuff. Watch the Doc Brown LEGO Dimensions trailer embedded after the jump.

Just this past weekend we featured a new viral video from the folks at InGen Technologies, the company handling the dinosaur breeding for Jurassic World. Along with that came a new TV spot featuring some voiceover from John Hammond, using dialogue lifted straight from Jurassic Park. Now we have some more hype for next month’s anticipated dinosaur rampage, but this time with some product placement.
A new TV spot and behind the scenes featurette from Mercedes-Benz goes behind the scenes of the film with a special spotlight on the official new Jurassic World vehicles that the automotive company have prominently featured in the film. One of the vehicles was actually kept under wraps until it appeared on set during producton, which is kind of cool. In addition, we have a cool video chronicling an international photoshoot with director Colin Trevorrow, producer Steven Spielberg and star Chris Pratt. Watch the videos below! Read More »
Cool Posts From Around the Web:
For some reason, despite the disaster that occurred at a test run of Jurassic Park, the folks at InGen Technologies thought it was still a good idea to follow up on John Hammond’s dream and build Jurassic World. In the new film, the theme park has been operation for a while, and it seems like they’ve worked out all the bugs in the system. But of course, they create a genetically modified hybrid called the Indominus Rex, and that’s bad news.
We’ll see how that turns out next month, but in the meantime, check out this Jurassic World InGen viral video that dives into how the company’s genetic technology and dinosaur breeding has evolved over the past couple decades. There’s also a new TV spot that uses some familiar voiceover from the late Richard Attenborough as John Hammond. Watch the videos below! Read More »
When the last Terminator Genisys trailer came out, I avoided it. Everyone said there was a big reveal within that they considered to be a massive spoiler. But then the new poster for the film is revealed and there it is, literally front and center. Could this seemingly huge franchise-changing reveal really be so insignificant that it’s cool to put in the middle of the poster? Apparently.
Which is a long way to say, there’s a new Terminator Genisys poster out now. It goes along with a new TV spot that shows a bit more of a scene from the first Terminator, which is in this film, and then ends with that big, bad maybe-it’s-not-a spoiler. See the new Terminator Genisys poster and TV spot below. Read More »
Avengers: Age of Ultron arrives in the UK and other countries in just a couple weeks, and hits the US on May 1. The first screenings take place very soon, after which we’ll probably start to hear far too much about the film’s secrets. But for now, there are brief blasts of new footage thanks to things like the new behind the scenes featurette, and these two new Age of Ultron TV spots. The best line in either of these spots comes from Jeremy Renner‘s Hawkeye, as he raises an issue that we’ve probably all thought about as the team prepares to battle the robot Ultron, and his army of other robots. An extended Audi ad featuring new footage from Avengers: Age of Ultron steals a little secret from Marvel. After the one minute car commerical, it surprises us with a post-credit 30 second TV spot for 2015’s second Marvel Studios film, Ant-Man. So you get new Avengers footage and then Ant-Man footage too. Not a bad deal. Check out the video below. Read More »
