Bill Murray Gives A Guided Tour Through 'Moonrise Kingdom'

Wes Anderson fans get a lot this week: his new film Moonrise Kingdom premiered recently at Cannes, and the film starts to hit theaters on Friday. (Some markets have to wait a week or two, however.) Along with the debut of the new movie we've had loads of interviews with the director, and some very entertaining promo material for the film.

Perhaps the best bit of promotion for Moonrise Kingdom is a walkthrough of the film by one of the stars, Bill Murray. Dressed casually and playing like he's just a bit toasted, Murray takes us through the cast and some of the sets for the film, and his droll narration is wonderful. Even though we've seen some of this material before, if you like Murray, you'll like this small tour.

Moonrise Kingdom is in select theaters this week, on May 25.

Set on an island off the coast of New England in the summer of 1965, MOONRISE KINGDOM tells the story of two twelve-year-olds who fall in love, make a secret pact, and run away together into the wilderness. As various authorities try to hunt them down, a violent storm is brewing off-shore — and the peaceful island community is turned upside down in more ways than anyone can handle. Bruce Willis plays the local sheriff. Edward Norton is a Khaki Scout troop leader. Bill Murray and Frances McDormand portray the young girl's parents. The cast also includes Tilda Swinton, Jason Schwartzman, and Jared Gilman and Kara Hayward as the boy and girl.
