The news has been pretty slow lately as summer winds down, but we're still recapping all the important stuff you need to know in this edition of Best Stories of the Week.

Below, you'll find stories from the past week with updates about Kong: Skull Island, the beginning of production on the Harry Potter spin-off Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, a sequel to What We Do in the Shadows, an animated Scooby-Doo reboot, a Flight of the Conchords movie, and a new rumor about Captain America: Civil War.
