'Batman V Superman' TV Spot: Superman Puts A Dent In The Batmobile

Even though the release of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is just over a couple months away, it doesn't feel like it. Sure, the excitement is high, but it's just strange for a movie of that scale to come out in March. But since we're so close to the release, it's time for the onslaught of TV spots to begin. Director Zack Snyder just shared a new tease of the movie and it features a taunt from The Dark Knight that fans will love to hear, especially after Superman damages his ride. Watch!

Here's the new Batman v Superman TV spot from Warner Bros. Pictures:

This is a titillating confrontation between Superman and Batman, but there's clearly more to the exchange than what we're seeing in this TV spot. Still, it's just cool to hear that they used the "Do you bleed?" line. Though I will say that I'm not the biggest fan of Ben Affleck's Batman voice. It sounds like it's been tweaked a bit electronically, and I wonder if that's something that will be addressed as a method of continuing to hide his identity, or if we're just supposed to assume that. Batman has been getting a lot of the hype lately, but it's quite bad ass of Superman to not say anything before he flies off.

A second TV spot also played during sportsball playoffs today, but there's not much new to see:

Zack Snyder directs Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice from a script by Chris Terrio and David Goyer. Ben Affleck stars as Batman, Henry Cavill returns as Superman, and Gal Gadot makes her debut as Wonder Woman. Jason Momoa is additionally expected to make a cameo as Aquaman.

Also starring are Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Holly Hunter as Senator Finch, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, Laurence Fishburne as Perry White, and Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth. Jena Malone and Scoot McNairy also appear in unspecified roles.

Fearing the actions of a god-like Super Hero left unchecked, Gotham City's own formidable, forceful vigilante takes on Metropolis' most revered, modern-day savior, while the world wrestles with what sort of hero it really needs. And with Batman and Superman at war with one another, a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it's ever known before.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice arrives March 25th.
