Okay, may-be it's just me but I thought Disney already announced that Rolling Stone member Keith Richards was cast in the final Pirates of the Caribbean film. Apparently not.
Well at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas (the hip geeks call it CES) Jerry Bruckheimer made the official announcement on Tuesday.

Johnny Depp based the character of Captain Jack Sparrow on the Rolling Stones rocker, and thus the rumors ran wild that Richards would be cast in the trilogy. Last night was the first time anyone involved with the film has publicly confirmed the casting as official.

So what now? Now we wait, until May 25th 2007, when Pirates of the Caribbean: At The World's End will be released in theaters nationwide.
