After a long holiday weekend filled with fanboys sifting through blurry bootleg trailers on YouTube, Fox has finally released a full quicktime version of the Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer trailer.

Here is the official plot synopsis courtesy of Apple.com: Marvel’s first family of superheroes, The Fantastic Four, meets their greatest challenge yet in Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer as the enigmatic, intergalactic herald, The Silver Surfer, comes to Earth to prepare it for destruction. As the Silver Surfer races around the globe wreaking havoc, Reed, Sue, Johnny and Ben must unravel the mystery of the Silver Surfer.

In a last ditch effort to get people to pay for a bad movie, Fox attached the new trailer for Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer to Night at the Museum. The studio gleefully announced that they would not release the trailer online until next week. But the fans revolted, uploading a bootlegged copies on YouTube.

Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer hits theaters on June 15th 2007.
