Entertainment Weekly has posted five new photos from the upcoming Quentin Tarantino/Robert Rodriguez double feature Grindhouse. Pictures after the jump.

Grindhouse is a tribute to the '70s exploitation films that influenced both directors. The two short films will be surrounded by faux trailers created by both directors.

Tarantino's Death Proof is a slasher flick where the killer pursues his victims with a car rather than a knife. The film stars: Kurt Russell, Zoe Bell (Kill Bill), Rosario Dawson (Sin City, Clerks II), Vanessa Ferlito (24, Shadowboxer), Jordan Ladd (Waiting, Cabin Fever), Rose McGowan (Charmed, Scream), Sydney Tamiia Poitier (Veronica Mars, Joan of Arcadia), Marley Shelton (Sin City), Tracie Thoms (Rent) and Mary Elizabeth Winstead (Final Destination 3).

Rodriguez's half of the film is titled Planet Terror, stars Freddy Rodriguez, Rose McGowan, Josh Brolin, Marley Shelton, Michael Biehn, Jeff Fahey, Michael Parks and the Black Eyed Peas' Stacy Ferguson.

Grindhouse will hit theaters nationwide on April 6th 2007.
