
The film critic societies have started to release their annual end of the year awards. And the critics can't seem to agree on this years winners.
While the National Board of Review and critics in LA agree that Clint Eastwood's Letters From Iwo Jima is the best picture, NY and DC prefer United 93, while the New York Film Critics Online votes for the Queen, Boston votes for their hometown film The Departed. Helen Mirren has so far taken the Best Actress awards in a landslide. While most of the critics agree that Forest Whitaker is the best actor of 2006, the wacky critics in LA loved Sacha Baron Cohen in Borat. The full award results follow:
